We made it look..... oh wait, dont look

So its true, the Sox of the White variety have won the world Series. This is the first time since 1917 that they have won. Back then, there was only 16 teams, now, there's obviously way more. What's funny to me is that last year, the other Sox won breaking their curse. After they won, everyone looked to Chicago as the most cursed city in baseball. The Red Sox also swept the Cardinals. This year, the White sox swept the Astros, breaking their curse. So I'm glad that the curses are out of the way. However, in doing so, it also broke another "curse" as it is. The Astros are the first TEXAS team to EVER make it to the world series. I know it couldn't have been the Rangers cause we don't have a good pitching squad, but atleast one Texas team made it. Also, the Astros were about to pull out the longest post season game in MLB history with an 18 inning win over the Cardinals. They also were in the longest World Series game by losing to the Sox in 14 innings. SO much love to the Astros, I still love ya, but not as much as the Rangers. Thanx for showin the world that a Texas team can atleast make it, even though you did get swept.
